It’s been a long time

Well its been a long time since I could get on and blog about our daily happenings, but here it is in a shortened version.  Ive been really busy!  School has been insane.  We finally wrapped up soccer season a couple of weeks ago.  I was so proud of my girls.  They made it to the second round of state.  We had our banquet last Wednesday.  School has been very tiresome, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Im looking forward to the reward of being a teacher…..summers off:) We have been very spoiled this week.  We have been house sitting for some friends of ours who live barely a mile from the school. I have had the luxury of getting up at 7:45 and getting to school by 8:00!  It almost makes me want to move closer….but we love our house.  Speaking of I finally go some flowers that my mom potted for us and put those out by the front door and on the back patio.  I have wanted to get out and do some serious yard work, but I have had absolutely not time.  Anyway, once school is finally out I will update more often.

Some more pictures

Our fire place and Christmas tree. This is where most of our decorations were. This is a decent shot of the living room and you can see part of the kitchen and dining room.Jonathan is growing our fire. He loves fires especially at Christmas time. We have the bedroom door shut to keep the fire smell out. I wasnt to fond of the idea of the fire in the first place, but it was so nice to just sit on our couch and watch the fire. We got a rare opportunity to talk and relax for about 2 hours.

Now that I have discovered how to upload pictures I thought I would put a couple of pictures up of our house.  I took these before Christmas, hence why you see all the Christmas decorations (which I have a feeling will continue to grow since my husband is a Christmas Freak…but I love him anyways!)  We moved in November 2nd against the POA of Fairfields laws. LOL. We didnt care we were so excited.  We have loved every minute of the blessing our home has been to us.  We are so grateful to our builder who truly runs his business for the Lord, our inlaws who allowed us to stay with them for an extended period of time allowing us to save money, and of course to the Lord who has blessed us more than we ever deserve.  Our prayer is that our home is used for the good of His kingdom, and that we make many joyful memories in our new home.  Enjoy the pics.  Our doors are always open to visitors we love having company.

Just an update

Me and my brothers fiance Shannon. We had a great time this past weekend in Dahlonega.Quentin and his fiance Shannon. Aren\'t they the cutest. Jonathan, my sister and Christine are all in the wedding set for November 22.

It has been a while since my last post.  Since my last post a couple of things have happened.  My soccer team lost their game against Salem High School in the second round of state.  Since then Salem played Starr’s Mill in the 3rd round and beat them as well.  My sister Christine graduated from Nursing school on Friday May 2nd.  I have a video of her pinning as well as some pictures that I am hoping to download as soon as I can figure out how to do that exactly.  I went up to Dahlonega and spent time with her and the rest of the family.  I stayed the night and the next morning we got up and had homemade pancakes that Quentin made.  For lunch we went to my all time favorite Dahlonega restaurant the Robins Nest.  From there we Christine and I came back to D’ville and she stayed with me and Jonathan until Sunday.  We have had a pretty good week so far except for the head cold Jonathan has acquired. He has the worlds worst alergies and he constantly suffers from them.  School is almost over for me and I am so looking forward to this summer.  I cant wait to have time to go on vacation and just do whatever I would like.
