Jonathan and Anne Marie’s Weblog

Our names are Jonathan and Anne Marie Underwood.  We will share a little about ourselves: We were born and raised in Douglasville Georgia, but did not meet one another until after we graduated from High School (a very long time ago:)  We both love the Lord with all our heart and strive to let his light shine through us daily.  Jonathan has the privilage of working in an environment with other loving Christians at our church Midway Church.  He is the lead media engineer and gets to use his God given talent of music on a daily basis.  He is also a member of the band Edenfield which is a Christian Rock band.  Jonathan loves playing in his band, spending time with friends and family and of course his wife.  Anne Marie is a high school teacher at Chapel Hill High School and the girls soccer varsity coach.  She loves shopping, spending time wtih friends and family and of course her husband.

Our Story:  Jonathan and I met in December of 2002 at our place of work.  The Gap at arbor place mall.  Unbenowenst to me I had met Jonathan on 2 previous occasions that he remembers like it was yesterday.  Rewind to my sophmore year of high school when I took a skiing trip with my best friend and her youth group.  Jonathan recalls having had a crush on me on the trip and someone having mentioned it to me, but as usual I blushed and passed it off.  I have absolutely no recollection of the meeting between us at Winter Place in 1996. Fast forward to spring of my senior year when I again with my best friend took swing lessons at her church.  I vaigly remember having danced with a cute boy who already had a girlfriend, but remember nothing more.  Fast forward to December of 2002 when I met Jonathan, who knew me from the 2 previous occasions, but I did not know who he was.  We hit it off immediately and we both knew very soon after we met that we were the ones that God gave each other to spend the rest of our lives with.
